Please note the following re this 2nd Box Spending Area activity (BuxBox accounts are referenced here as simply the "Box".) The following was provided on 07-28-06. This was updated on September 13, 2008
>> The balance in a Spending Area (Box) either increases or decreases by the various activities; plus you have a running Balance. You will also notice that there can be frequent transfers form one Spending Area (Box) to another.
>> Such activity during the month of January xxxx is fully identified by the information within the applicable "Source Name" and the "Memo" contents lines.
>> Notice that this Box benefited from the $500.00 Float Factor since most transactions are via Credit Card
>> Notice that the weekly net pay is automatically deposited by Dad's employer into the Bank Account.
>> Notice that a number of the checks are repetitive and automatically processed Online
>> Notice that the transfers from one Box to another Box is what QuickBooks calls a memorized repetitive entry - you manually process it but mostly you just change the date.
>> Notice the $2000.00 paid on "Old Debt." When you Click Here you learn about "Three Legged Entries" whereby you can also adjust the applicable Memo Account area so that this information is simultaneously current, etc.
